I have had very blurry vision as of lately, and had no idea why as I had no notifications popping up. I've played for about 3 or 4 hours with this character. I found some antibiotics and thought maybe that would help with blurry vision, so I took them. As soon as I took them my character FINALLY alerted me of infection, but it was stage four. It told me "My wounds hurt less" and all of a sudden "sick" appeared in my inventory. That really threw me for a loop. I then proceeded to use alcohol tinctures to clean my wounds, however the "sick" message still won't go away in my inventory. Every time I clean my wounds, however, it still tells me "my wounds look cleaner."

Steps To Reproduce
Get hit by zombies (but never end up bleeding?) and wait for vision to blur. This apparently means you are infected, since the message board does not tell you like it is supposed to.

I can confirm this. Using the alcohol to clean your wounds (or taking antibiotic pills) seems to update your infection status (or perhaps it just sets it to stage 4 and stage 1-3 is invisible with no messages?) and you have to wait for the wounds to be cured.
After some time the wounds will become totally clean and you become healthy, or you might have to clean your wounds again. I'm a little unsure if using the alcohol tincture/antibiotic pills once are supposed to clear the infection completely and the status isn't updating to healthy/healing or if you sometimes actually have to use it a couple of times for it to heal you fully. Re-logging might update your status correctly to healthy, I haven't been able to test that yet.

I used about 50% of an alcohol tincture and 2 antibiotic pills over the course of an hour and a half to two hours in game time and it told me my wounds were completely healed. however, i would like to add that vision blurriness still persists. and my buddy can confirm that the black and white vision from blood loss persists after regaining full blood and health.

You need to use the tincture and desinfectant spray on your rags and then use the bandage on the wound. If you get bleeding by a zombie attack it's better to just keep on searching till you find either the spray before bandaging or a medkit.
Sometimes however you just have to risk it.
