Game Launches out of range
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Every time i launch the game through steam my monitor says out of range. I have tried changing the launcher options through steam but no luck. My monitor only goes up to 1680x1050 so i thought the game might be launching in 1080p. So i hooked my pc up to my tv which is 1080p and it works fine at any resolution. The problem is even if i select my monitors resolution or even lower it still says out of range.;-(

Try editing the .cfg file to set the resolution manually

How do you do that?

Go to C:\Users\NAME\Documents\DayZ and open DayZ.cfg. Modify the Render_W and Render_H lines to say:

Render_W=1680;
Render_H=1050;

Its already set to this Render_W=1680;
Render_H=1050; so i dont understand
