Flashlight remains in clothing when changed, stays in hands too.
New, WishlistPublic

When you have a flashlight in your pants and in your hands and you have it on then you change to a new pair of pants on the ground, the flashlight effect radiates from the pair of pants you took off (with the flashlight in them).

Say flashlight was equipped to slot 1 - it appears on but has ghost slot (non-inventory) image, however you are still holding it, AND it is shining up on the ceiling from the old pants.

Press quickslot to drop the flashlight, then drag from old pants to new, and everything is A-OK. Still a strange bug... can't drag from old pants to new without first putting it down (when its already shining on the ceiling from the old pants) {F28580}

Saw this bug last night, uploaded a screenshot of it. Should be easy to reproduce. Put flashlight in your pants (havent tried other articles of clothing), put it in your slot 1, turn it on. Now walk over to some pants on the ground, open up your inventory so you see it in VICINITY, and drag the new pants onto your body. The flashlight stays ghosted in your inventory, as OP said it's strange. I had to put the pants back on, exit inventory, and turn off the flashlight for this to correct itself.

pressing the flashlights quick slot does not put it away for me when it's on old clothes, have to click red x in hands box.

however when moved back it restores quick slot affiliation which is nice.

I just tried this.

having item in hand and dropping clothes that contain the item drops the item too

having item in hand and swapping clothing that holds the item drops the item from hands

This is fixed.
