Blood does not show up under the light of a flashlight as gory blood red. Instead it shows as slightly darker version of the floor/wall texture it is on as per the screeshots attached.
In screenshot 2013-12-18_00001.jpg you can see the blood texture just outside the cone of light to the right showing correctly as blood red. {F28526} {F28527}
