So this might seem a little silly and is for sure not a thing with high priority but it is something to keep in mind when creating new items.

We are in a post-apocalyptic world with no power. That means that if there are fresh fruits they need to be growing in the area. That requires some trees where they grow or at least the right climate. I know there have been talks about seasons and if you decide to have snow at some point that means you can not have Oranges and Bananas. But even for the apples you should put in some trees. It's part of the immersion.
