If they are your steam friends the servers 'Friends' tab could suffice?

Nothing shows up in there, but I really want them to be able to right click in Steam chat and for them to just join through there like Steamworks games.

I was able to automatically join a friend's server by selecting them in my Steam friends list and choosing Join Game from the drop down menu.

My issue stems from finding a server I am liking and trying to get back to it and not remembering the name. Particularly since the respawn has not been working properly and you need to logout to respawn.

Doesn't hitting P show you the players on the server and the server name?? I don't remember, just a suggestion to try.

you can use "play game" in the menu to join the last server you played on

or there should be an invite button for steam friends

This and a way to view the Login notes lots of servers say join the teamspeak but the MOTD passes by so fast there is no possible way to get see the IP
