I fell unconscious with a group of friends, they grabbed the defibrillator off my body and was able to shock me back to life. They reported that I was moving as if I were alive (being able to look around/change stances/WASD/shoot), but my screen was stuck in the unconscious screen.
Tried rejoining to no success.
Another friend passed out as well and we shocked him back to life, but despite him being able to move around, his screen was still black.

The remaining "You Are Unconscious" screen is a know issue and your situation may have the same reason only under different circumstances.
