The quick select bar seems to glitch out quite often. Meaning if I place something in there and attempt to switch to something quickly. Nothing happens. I will repeatedly spam the key and still nothing, I will slowly try to press the key and nothing. Only thing that seems to help it is pressing any other select button along the quick select in a rage induced spat. Then calmly press the button you want seems to work. Though this work around can't be a good thing..lol
