FPS problems no matter what settings

Description

Hello,

I am experiencing horrible FPS problems, even though I am well over the minimum(Closer to the recommended). Of course i launched the game straight away after release.

In the middle of Electro I had 12-15 on very low settings(thank god it was night time so the game wasnt ruined for me;). Anything higher in the settings and it would drop below 10. I tried it again this morning (6h after release) with a fairly empty server, and it was about the same.

In the mod I would easily run 30-35 when running through Electro, but that thanks to tweaks as launch parameters, Config files and OCing my GPU.

Since this is a rebuild of the arma 2 engine, is it possible that the launch parameters would work here as well? O

Laptop:
i7 2670qm 3.1ghz
Nvidia GT630m 2gb @ 780mhz/990mhz(org. 672/900)
16gb
Samsung 840 EVO SSD(running in "raid" with ram thanks to magician)
(Nvidia is chosen as the primary GPU in the Nvidia controlpanel)

So, id say that my specc well exceed the minimum recquirements, but still having these insane FPS problems.

Additional Information

I understand its alpha, and just released. And that my laptop is no beast. But if this is a permanent problem, you should consider upping the minimum requirements to minimize more post/complaining about similar problems.

The settings I had in the mod was High; 1366x768, no AA, vsync off, Sharp FAXX filter, Arma grass and trees, HDR low, Shadows off. the rest on High. (cant rember them all.) (25-45 FPS through the whole map)

In the SA everything is either on very low or off. 12-15 FPS through what ive seen so far(mostly Electro because lack of time)

Does the problem persist in the wilderness?

Mag.

I have the same problem on a much more powerful desktop machine. I get (20-25fps in woods, 10-15fps in towns), where as with the same settings my DayZ Arma2 mod (60-80fps in woods, 25-35fps in towns) runs superb. My specs:

AMD FX-8350 @4.5GHz, Transcend aXeRAM 8GB @2.33GHz, Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 Boost @1.0/1.45GHz, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5, Samsung SSD 830 Series 128GB, WD Red 2TB

Playing at a 1680x1050 resolution

I went through all the usual optimizations: disabling postprocessing, editing cfg files (max frames ahead, draw distance...)

If needed I can provide extra info.

After the second patch my FPS get a huge drop, i was playing fine in default settings until the second patch now i cant play because its too laggy.

My specs, 8GB of RAM, GTX 460 256Bits, i5 3.1Ghz, windows 7 64Bits

Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.5Ghz
Nvidia GTX460SE 2GB
4Gb Corsair DDR3 RAM

Set from high to normal graphical settings, regardless of change, performance remains the same.
I get <20 fps inside cities, although usually now <10.

30 in wilderness but never near 50-60. My performance in the wilderness on ArmA 2 Chernarus and DayZ mod was way better than this even at 5km VD and higher settings.

The fps is so bad that if I didn't have such a love for DayZ, I would've quit by now.

I have 16 gb of 1333 ddr3 ram
amd fx 6100 processor overclocked to 3.8ghz
amd r9 290x 4GB ram stock clocks

I set all to low and 3d resolution to 1280x720
This is the only way i can get resonable performance; otherwise i will see about 15 fps in town; The woods and small towns are fine; i usually see 45-80. But for the hardware i have; It WELL exceeds the recommended requirements and yet i see lackluster performance. I don't understand what about my hardware produces such terrible performance

My specs:
i7-4930k @ 5.1GHz (watercooled)
32GB ddr3 @ 2133MHz
r9 290x @ 1140MHz core / 6000MHz memory
Dayz/OS installed on a 240GB Corsair Force GT SSD.

Settings:
1080p @ 120Hz (have to force that, annoying)
Vsync: Off
Tex Details/Filering: Very High
Objects/Terrain/Clouds: Very High
Shadows: Low
Antialiasing: Disabled
Alpha to Coverage: Disabled
Edge Smoothing: Disabled
HDR Quality: Very Low
Ambient Occlusion: Enabled
Post Process Quality: High
Bloom: Minimum
Rotation Blur: Minimum

CFG specific Changes:
preferredObjectViewDistance=1000
GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;
GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;

Launch Options:
-CpuCount=6 -ExThread=11 -maxVRAM=4095 -maxMem=32768

Top out @ 45fps in the wilderness, 30ish in cities, in the 20's with weapon out running around with other people.
