Description

Items placed in hand from garments/backpacks place "In hand" indicator in said garment.

When the garment is removed your in hand indicator goes with it and shows a duplicate item that cannot be moved/used.

If you leave that garment and manage to drop the item it returns to the garment that you left behind.

Was only able to place another item in hand after returning to original garment, placing item in hand then removing from in hand and placing item in new garment before returning it to in hand status.

Steps To Reproduce

Put torch in hand from pants.

Change pants.

Try dropping torch on ground.

search old pants to find torch still located inside regardless of distance (will not place torch in vicinity)

this issue is very old already. If you should still encounter this bug, please let us know. Otherwise, please close this ticket as "resolved" to preent the Feedback Tracker from filling up needlessly.

I just tried this.

having item in hand and dropping clothes that contain the item drops the item too

having item in hand and swapping clothing that holds the item drops the item from hands

This is fixed.

As of version 0.55.127059, this is fixed.

When changeing pants with an item in use (and in that pants), the item gets "unused" and removed from both the inventory and the hotbar, no duplication occurs.

If you should encounter this issue again, feel free to submit a new ticket.
