I equipped the flashlight and began looting a house, when I went to switch to fists from the lit flashlight the beam stayed in place as if I was shining the flashlight at the wall still. {F28111}

Could you send me some screenshots please? and some general repro steps I don't understand exactly how to get this sorry.
I have updated the 'Steps to Reproduce' with additional information from other users regarding the same bug.
I don't know about the conditions, but I can confirm that this is relatively common and PERSISTENT ACROSS ALL PLAYERS. One time it occurred in Kamenka, I just found it in a random part of the road. Another time I was running out of Balota and saw it at the edge of the forrest, went to investigate, no player.
Added a screenshot as requested. Steps to reproduce on my end:
1: Have flashlight out and powered on
2: Perform eating animation
3: There is now permanent flashlight beam emanating from where you were standing
It is as simple as changing what you have in your hands while the light is still on. I noticed several times. One time was because a zed saw me. I was on the 2nd story of a building on the staircase. I switched to my splitting axe to kill the zed, ran up to the 3rd floor and the light was still shining through the floor, switched to the flashlight and the old beam disappeared and came on normally again.
Came to make the same note as DarkFire and Hazz3r. Found light beams randomly placed without a physical source.
Can we fix the flashlight to actually be something useful and not pointing down and to the left, not at all where the character is looking?
Can also happen if you turn on a flashlight without picking up/equipping it (i.e lying on a bed as a loot). Even if you pick up the previously turned on and beaming flashlight, its beam stays there!
Hi TheRedScare and others,
this is something we believe has been fixed.
Please submit a new ticket if the issue persists.
