Camera slows down near rocks or water line.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

  1. I have turned on "Copy Terrain":

Camera slows down near rocks, sea level or when i set it near to the ground.
When i have camera above the land and i will double click somwhere on the sea, camera is align to the bottom of the sea. I suppose it shouldn't act this way.

This is an intended feature.

As closer you get to the ground or water line as slower the camera movement gets (for a more detailed and comfortable item placement).

The double click (on the map view I suggest?) changes the camera position and copies the camera height you had on the solid ground. If the camera was close to the solid ground it will be close to the bottom of the sea (e.g. the camera is 100m above the airfield -> in the map view double click somewhere on the map -> the camera is still 100m above the ground level on the new position).

Well... if this is intended, please close this ticket.
Honestly i am not sure why it is done this way (especialy slowing down over the rocks and during passing line of water) also what are usabilities of those features but i belive you know what you are doing.
Regards
