AI detection zone in vehicles / Impossible reversing with Ai nearby / Just decrease size of the zone please
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

OK, i see totally zero reaction from devs side, on so easy to fix bug, so i write there most clear vision of it.
THERE IS ZONE AROUND THE VEHICLE, WHERE FIRENDLY/ENEMY AI IS DETECTING OBJECTS/OTHER AI.
THIS ZONE NEED TO BE DECREASED AND THIS IS ONLY THING I'M ASKING.
ON PRESENTED VIDEOS ITS CLEARLY SEEN THIS ZONE IS TOO BIG, AND MAKING FIREFIGHTS ON STREETS IMPOSSIBLE WHEN THERE IS SINGLE GUY IN THERE. TANKS NEED SPACE - I UNDERSTAND, BUT THEIR DRIVERS NEED TO OBEY THE ORDERS, GIVING THE OTHER CREWMANS CHANGE TO SURVIVE - IF I CANT REVERSE INSTANTLY, HOW I CAN SURVIVE ON BATTLEFIELD, IF I'M BEING AQUIRED BY (FOR EXAMPLE) ATGM? CHANGING THIS WILL TAKE YOU 5 MINUTS AND GIVE PLAYER CHANCES TO NORMAL USE OF ARMORED VEHICLES WITHOUT LIMITATIONS. {F27584}

BTW; If i'm not mistaken, AI crews have problems with detection enemies very close/next to the tank. This would help with that i think, beacuse this zone can be named "dead zone" as well. Please, do not ingore this ticket,
please fix this.

Still no reaction....
