Description

Basically im a tech geek and apparently i had a small virus on my pc,
plugin-container.exe
i have gotten it removed from my pc..

Basically i believe the virus software might have possibly corrupted the arma 3 launcher, and i am aware of the capability of what it might have foreseen that the arma 3 launcher was infected to clean it by TRJ/AdwCleaner/Kaspersky/Malware Bytes and a day later i had just now tried to launch Arma 3, which i have paid through steam a few years back.

Now the arma 3 launcher is failing to launch

Hello,

The OS is unable to load a file that is required to run the game. A missing DLL may belong to the game, the OS or one of the required components (DirectX e.g.). Possible solutions:

Verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam.
Re-install DirectX.
Uninstall the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package (x86 version), restart your computer and install the package again (do not use the Repair function).
Run the Windows System File Check tool to repair corrupted system files.

Thank you Adam for your help, turns out i didn't have the right Direct X installed and needed the C++ windows package update to be installed again.
