Everything indicates that A3 logs (RPT) are encoded with ANSI.
Generaly this isn't a big problem if user want just to read a log.
However modders, missionmakers and so on use many times national characters.
Because you are proffesionals I wil not explain to you what does it means.
Thing would be much more easier if log would be created in UTF8.
Then parsing such text would be peace of cake, logs would be the same on any machine and so on.
I think this change has almost none effort (if logging is properly designed) and impact will be significant.
