Crash after short period of game play: 0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
Assigned, WishlistPublic

Description

The game crashes after a short period of time during game play (less than ten minutes), every time I play.
I have played with several mods, no mods, and variations in between. Clean boots, boots with other programs in the background. I started having theis problem with Windows 7 64-Bit, and upgraded to Windows 10, with similar issues. I have just updated video, network, chipset, and audio drivers (others do not appear to have updates). I have run sfc /scannow, with some corrupt files found, but no method to fix them. I have check for a DirectX update, but do not appear to need one. I have checked Steam files, with no apparent issues. I have updated the MS redistributables, with no effect. I have made sure that I have enough room on my hard drive for the page file.

Hello,
Thank you for reporting the issue.
We need crash dump files from this folder to analyze your problem.
C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\
Can you upload somewhere in winrar package, please?

How to find correct crashdump file:
Try to make the crash happen
Look into crashdump folder
Upload crashdump with latest date in name (crashdump is rpt + bidmp + mdmp file with same name). Please try to provide as many crashdumps as possible, it helps us investigating the problem in a big way.

Try reproducing the issue without mods. Thank you.

Update:
This issue persisted whether mods were used or not.
However, I just switched out an Afterglow Wireless Headset, and the issue has completely disappeared.
