DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED (handling the problem, not solving it!!!)
Acknowledged, WishlistPublic

Description

This report is not to blame Bohemia for the error, which could happen with others games too.

This report is created, so maybe someone at Bohemia will take a look at "How the game could handle this crash, so that the display is properly recovered after Windows detected a TDR with the graphic driver". I am not talking about SOLVING an issue which could be a graphic driver problem, but to HANDLE it so the game can restore the display by itself.

It's not my job to tell you how to do it, neither to force you to do it.
All i can tell, is that the Windows SDK allow you to recreate the device from the game itself, so the game can get back the display instead of black screen/error.

Now it's you to decide the priority of this request, i know not all of the players got this problem, but it still seems to affect many.

Additional Information

Here is the Microsoft webpage for the pattern to follow for the display recovery, ArmA 3 is DX11 game or not ? That is the question !

------------------

For myself, i've stopped playing ArmA 3 for now. Waiting to change CPU/MB/RAM/Storage in few week along with a clean & fresh Windows 10 installation, to see if it helps me solving it. But anyway, the game itself should integrate the full display recovery after a TDR.
