Direct server start after shutdown results in "Error context {UTF8 characters}"
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hello there!
Today I am having a strange issue with my fresh installation of ArmA 3 (1.48) Linux Dedicated server running off Debian 8 (Jessie, 64bit).

Brief description of the issue:
I have been trying to troubleshoot this for around straight 6 hours yesterday, what happens is that once I start the server with no mods loaded it loads necessary things as usually and once it comes to the process of loading mod(s) and PhysX3 (I am unsure if this is in any way related to the issue) this UTF-8 characters appears and shuts down the server (screenshot/also attached):

Basically after PhysX3 SDK ends loading a "text" using UTF8 characters appears (note:these characters changes after a certain amount of time) and shuts down the server as stated above.

And the strangest fact is that this happens only if I try to start the server directly after I shut it down (with CTRL+C), however if I wait 5+/-minutes the server starts normally and this "error" does not crash/shutdown the server.

Backend information:
Arma version: 1.48
OS: Debian 8 Jessie (64-bit) - Linux
Start script (temporary): ./arma3server '-server' '-port=2302' '-ip=censored'
There are also plenty of disk space left including free ram.
Also as I said, this is ran from a fresh installation of ArmA 3 and no mods enabled/installed. {F26688} {F26689} {F26690}

Steps To Reproduce

With Debian 8 (linux) do the following:

  1. Install fresh copy of ArmA 3 Linux dedicated server (SteamCMD id: 233780, validate installation once).
  2. Launch the server with:

./arma3server '-server' '-port=2302' '-ip=censored'

  1. It should load successfully, shut the server down with "CTRL+C".
  2. Start the server with the above script directly after shutdown.
  3. After loading mods and PhysX3 a "Error context" should appear as in the screenshot above (http://i.imgur.com/JSMGkAg.png) and the server will shutdown/crash.
Additional Information

As stated above, this is ran from a fresh installation with no mods, this issue only appears if you launch the server directly after shutdown, if you wait 5+/- minutes this does not appear.

Hello there, me again. The above screenshot shows the error with 2 mods loaded, and yes this error was appearing from the beginning even when those mods were not installed.

I attached another 2 screenshots. (1) Validation of ArmA 3 Dedicated server installation & ArmA 3 server directory (2) error (mods are completely removed including a mpmission file).

Again, the issue was occurring after the first installation but the server is still "usable" but this issue makes it very hard and annoying to use the server, I have also tried to remove ArmA 3 server directory and reinstall it completely but the issue still persists.

Any suggestions are welcome,
thanks in advance!

Okay, no replay in a few months.

Since I tend to be the nice guy here's a summary of the "solution":
On latest A3 build (as of now 1.54) with Debian 8.x (64-bit) install these packages: libtbb2, lib32gcc1, lib32stdc++6 & libtbb2:i386

Have fun!
