IFV Cheeta commander periscope sometimes moves of itself when you're commander
Need More Info, WishlistPublic

You are the Cheeta commander, you spot a target for the gunner, the gunner fires at the target. Suddenly your turret/periscope view moves some 30 deg to the left and stops. You move it a bit to the right, but again it moves 30 deg to the left. The main turret and hull all the while are not moving. The target is destroyed.

You are stuck in a situation where with each movement, there is some kind of correction that moves your view automatically, but there's no logic behind it.

It makes the Cheeta commander role very difficult and not fun at all. {F26455}

Steps To Reproduce
  1. place a cheeta with you as commander
  2. place a careless enemy helicopter at 500m 45 deg to the right
  3. move the view, zoom in and out, target the enemy
  4. let the gunner engage the target
  5. notice that something is moving the commanders view and it is not you and not the main turret or hull
Additional Information
  • The correction is not always the same angle
  • The correction is not along the hull of the vehicle
  • It only occurs after engaging an enemy

Hello, i was not unable to reproduce the issue could you pleasep rovide more info? For example screenshot / video / simple repromission. Thank you!

Demo mission uploaded: a Cheeta and a hovering Huron set to 'CARELESS';

Let your gunner engage the enemy. Move your commanders view (1st person) around and zoom like you're keeping an eye on your surroundings.

After a while the bug appears. 100% reproducable for me
