As the title says, the Gorgon does not float after the latest update. You can drive it across the ocean floor. I'm not sure if this was intended but the latest change log does not mention removing this capability.
When underwater the vehicle doesn't get damaged, it acts watertight and you can drive on the ocean floor until you run out of gas. {F26222}
