Arma introduced remote designators and podded mi-290 tarus as a separate veichles, meaning you could not do something like take your own designator and pod it or take a mi-290 taru and un-pod it (so that you could e.g. sling-load more).
But the models of a standard designators have something that looks like a tripod socket, remote designators look just like normal designators + pods, the same is true for mi-290, the construction of which seemingly allows for mounting of different pods and re-mounting of them.
Perhaps loadmaster there should also do something actually important - now his functions are none. {F26192}
