i am using an Xipnut controller, Xbox one controller. However this also affects keyboard input.
In the karts time trials when you load the map for the first time, the input is very responsive. After restarting several times there is a noticeable lag. Since the time trials prove to be quite challenging, this is a scenario that is likely to happen often.
Start up the karts time trials. Then rev your engine to start the race, then hit escape and restart. Do this about 10 times without quitting to the main menu. There will be about a 0.1 second delay now. The more times you do it, the longer the delay.
It's rather annoying because restarting is something you have to do often in the time trials, especially when you crash and break a wheel!
Btw my version is actually 1.42.130.340, but that was not an option.
