Pilots and infantry units will bail out of a helicopter regardless of the altitude after they have been hit by MANPADS or once the helicopter is damaged enough instead of attempting to auto rotate or emergency land. Pilots will at times fall and somehow survive unscathed while the infantry are all killed. Issue also occurs when the player is flying as a passenger in a helicopter that is shot down. The pilots will bail out of the aircraft killing the player instead of attempting to land. Issue was not present until the introduction of update 1.38.
