Reduce/Remove weapon sway when prone (unrealistic/unecessary)
New, WishlistPublic

Description

The weapon sway in this game is a bit silly when your soldier is prone on a flat surface. The only movement that should be happening here is up and down from breathing, if his elbow is firmly planted on the ground and he's in a proper prone firing position there should very little swaying. Especially noticeable when trying to hit targets from really far or using a magnified optical sight, it almost seems like the soldier is waving the gun around, whereas if his elbow is planted it shouldn't be moving this much at all. A little bit would be understandable if he is really fatigued, wounded, or shuffling around a lot but it feels like this sway really needs to be reduced for prone shots, a steady arm planted in the ground should be a solid support for the rifle.

Additional Information

This is from the perspective of someone who has spent a lot of time on the range and at shooting competitions in real life. When in a good position it's very easy to keep your rifle steady with next to no movement at all. It only seems fitting that a soldier should have the training and skill to be able to keep his rifle steady as well while prone, especially with the added weight of his equipment keeping his body planted in place and steady.

I checked it out. Sway appear after the rotation of the torso in the laying position. In other cases, it is almost unnoticeable. In a stationary prone position Sway very small (Conventional rifles).
This is more noticeable when using a sniper rifle, which is normal, because this weapon has a heavy weight. I think there is no problem. So finally, we need to add a bipods to the game, This is to reduce any remaining vibrations.
It seems to me need to reduce Sway only in standing position.
