When you use the ammotype 12 gauge buck (red one) and shot close to yourslef like in the ground or the enemy close to you. It become like smal explosion. They don´t kill you directly but after a while they do if you continuing shooting.

Steps To Reproduce
Pick a weapon that can use the 12 gauge buck. We use our own shootgun and it uses the ammo config from BIS directly.

Are you sure it isn't about the shotgun model you are using? or have you tried with different shotguns from different mods?

The shotgun only directly uses the ammoconfig from BIS config so no changes there. But it may be that BIS want to have it like "explosive shotgunshells" like to the AA-12
