Black Screen - Sound / No Visual
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hello,

I am running a Intel HD 4000 W. 2GB VRAM. 8GB DDR3 Memory, and a Quad Core i5 processor. Over the minimum requirements, and venturing into the recommended requirements.

I am running the latest Intel HD 4000 Graphics. Whenever I am playing, campaign, or online, anything within Arma. I get a black screen, it alt tabs to desktop, I then alttab back and all I see is a black screen. I'm able to shoot and hear the shots, but it's just a black screen.

I have currently reversed to the 9.17.10.2932 Intel HD graphics drivers at this moment due to a recommendation with other people having this issue, but, I do not want to have to revert to over a year and a half old graphics driver. It's fuzzy and not crisp, looks horrible compared to the newest drivers that are more optimized.

I've put my error into the additional info.

Hello,

thank you for your report and files. It seems that your problem is that DirectX crashes. This may be from various reasons, such as outdated DirectX, outdated drivers, overclocked CPU or GPU [by manufacturer or user] and many more.

Sadly, there is nothing that can be done from our side. I linked this problem to bug number #0000579, where you can read useful tips in comments. Also, please check out the forums page for another useful tips:
