Steps To Reproduce

Using attached repro mission:

  1. Start engine.
  2. Select 'Damage Helicopter' from the action menu.
  3. Wait until rotor has completely stopped (Sometimes rotors wont completely stop until you get out of the helicopter. On a side note, why is this? Related to ticket #0020163?).
  4. Select 'Repair Refuel and Heal' from the action menu.
  5. Attempt to restart engine.

If engine starts sucessfully, repeat steps 1-5 until engine starts but rotor fails to spin up

For a non-scripted approach, you can try repeated heavy landings and using the provided utility trucks to service yourself/helicopter and you should arrive at the same conclusion

Additional Information
  • Using Dev build 1.27.126856 (there isn't an option to select dev branch in the product version tab)
  • So far ive tried this with the AH-9 (bug exists), MH-9 (bug exists), UH-80 (bug exists) and AH-99 (bug does NOT exist).
  • The magic number for me is 3 sets of damaging/repairing to make this problem occur but I don't know if that is consistent across all types of helicopter or not.
  • Bug does NOT exist in the standard flight model.
