Awareness additions to landing gear.
Acknowledged, WishlistPublic

Description

The wheel brake which is the difference between a rolling landing and a breaking you helo, however there is no indicator for this outside of the UI. An active light under the glare shield or an added bit of symbology on the screen of glass cockpits would clear all this up.

Landing gear is another thing, for severs that don't allow third person you also don't know if your gear is up or down...which is the difference between landing and exploding.
Either another active light or a bit of audio would clear this up.

Finally landing itself is something a bit uncertain when approaching from a non flat angle, for example the ground being closer than you think and so you dump collective which can cause all sorts of fun problems.
This wasn't an issue in TKOH because you knew exactly when you landed due to the sound of struts flexing or wheel hydraulics.

Just wanted to say that the additions to the littlebird series have made landing much more enjoyable, with the scraping against the ground and the thunk heard when landing with enough speed or force.

Can't wait to hear the thunk on the rest of the vehicles!
