With rotor lib enabled on my custom helicopter, it sinks into the water.
With rotor lib disabled, it floats like a regular physx object should.

Did you try it with different landing gear positions? I have seen that the ghost hawk sinks into solid ground when i forget to put the gears out.
I'm not understanding the issue...with phsyx enabled..the helo sinks into the water...which helicopters do when submerged...they don't float. When physx is desabled...it doesn't sink in the water....which kinda makes sense since you just turned off physx. What are you looking to see happen when you drop a helo into the water?
I have my own addon. See http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?181520-Bell-206
The rescue variant has floats and can float on water without sinking.
However, as soon as I turn on the advanced flight model, the helicopter stops floating.
Can confirm still not resolved, helicopters in advanced flight mode sink while in standard they can somewhat (collective a bit bellow neutral) float.
It feels like if the water was sucking the helicopter in.
Maybe buoyancy force is inverted in RotorLib?
