UH-80 door gunner minigun 6.5 mm caliber destroy concrete buildings with around 30 rounds. For example air control tower on Stratis airfield.

On the other hand cutting down tree with it takes about 1000 rounds

try it on editor.

Tested by placing an uh-80 to the taxiway directly west of the control tower and shooting at the control tower. Point of aim in the wall between the 1st and 2nd level windows. I tried it with an autorifleman too. He can burn through all his magazines without effect, but the uh-80 door gunner collapsed the building to first stage with as low as 26 rounds and completely to ground with less than 200.

The tree side. Place chopper close to (ca. 50 m) from a tree and have at it.

Additional Information

This is a reopened issue. I was told that this is not a bug but I beg to disagree. I'm submitting it again because of the new information about trees.

Just a thought. The 20 mm gatling cannon in AH-99 takes about 150 rounds to cut down tree, although it's harder to keep on target. I think the hit % was about 70 or 80 %. And it takes about 50 rounds with 20 mm to start destroying the control tower and total destruction with around 100 rounds. And those rounds are high explosive.

It's not only the UH-80 6.5mm gatling. The M134 Minigun (AH-9 Pawne & WY-55 Hellcat) is ridiculously overpowered against buildings too. 30 Rounds and the Airfield Tower is destroyed (not completely): http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=20133
