Unable to get to Mike-26 during Patrol after Crossing Paths

Description

During a Patrol mission right after Crossing Paths (Survive campaign), Mike-26 is marked as an Abandoned Battlefield optional mission. However, the area seems to be marked as "forbidden" - after approaching within approx. 200 meters of the base, Kerry reports that he is lost, and a mortar strike hits his position. I have tried approaching the areas from different directions, and got the same result.

Update: I was able to rush through the mortar barrage on an ATV. However, this would still make the mission unreachable on foot.

Steps To Reproduce

Finish the Crossing Paths mission and return to Maxwell.
Head out to Patrol and head in the direction of Mike-26.
Wait for the optional mission notice.
Approach within 200m of Mike-26.

Additional Information

I do not know if this optional Patrol mission is available right after the assault on Mike-26, but will verify and update if necessary. Update: Crossing Paths seems to be the earliest point when this mission is available.

Similar issues happen when approaching Girna (e.g. after Wet Work) - strategic map shows no AAF presence in the area, so I would expect to be able to access it.

Update: I tried getting to this area during a Patrol mission after Wet Work (I do not have a Patrol save for after Radio Silence). No Abandoned Battlefield marker appeared on approach. I was able to rush through the forbidden area on an ATV, and no mortar fire came in after I got to the base.

I will see if I can do the same during Patrol after Crossing Paths.

Hello,
you have to have Radio Silence completed in order to get in the area, is that your case?

As I noted before, the mission marker did not appear during patrol after Wet Work (which follows Radio Silcence). I only got it to appear after Crossing Paths.
