Drones Take Ages to Engage
Assigned, WishlistPublic

Description

When painting targets with the laser designator, drones can sometimes take a long, long time to do anything. Often, they'll just fly around and do nothing for three or four minutes before dropping any ordnance, despite passing over the targets. It's almost as if they're not picking up on the designator.

Can anyone else confirm this issue?

It's very, very random! Doesn't happen often - but it actually happens once in a blue moon on the official campaign missions too.

Still having issues with this. I'll add a link for a repro if needed, but as I've mentioned above, it occurs randomly.

If you subscribe to the repro mission, save before the convoy ambush and you should be able to observe the occasional mishap, by loading and replaying, where the UAV refuses to drop its ordnance. Eventually, it will attack. Sometimes, it can take as long as 5-6 minutes! Hope this proves helpful. Let me know if I can provide any other material, cheers,

I have also noticed this too occur on the official campaign.

Hi Oukej, having same problem. Drones take forever and a day to attack targets that are highlighted with laser designator.
