place some AI units
Place a sniper and give it a silenced weapon or place a spotter instead
shoot at the ai
the ai either returns fire or starts moving directly towards you as if they know exactly where you are
Additional Information
I've been a soldier and in real life its hard the know the exact location of someone who fired at you even in broad daylight and even when his weapon is NOT silenced
especially if he only fired one shoot at you
so suppressed at night in full camo from over 500 meters away ??? no way

In few attempts ranging from 300-500m at night with a silenced Mk18 and conversely with LRR. In both situations the AI didn't have a clue, where I am shooting from. (Mk18 - http://youtu.be/47huD1ZVq_A )
