Steps To Reproduce
You can either create a custom addon, or:
1.) In Mission Editor Create a MH9 and a Quadbike.
2.) Get in the chopper as pilot
3.) Lean out of the chopper (either via TrackIR or using crtl+NumPad and /crtl+Q/E), lean your head out of the vehicle
4.) approach the quadbike with the skids

Adding View Pilot Geometry LOD doesn't work, nor do any other Geometry / View LODs and / or named properties like "canocclude".

You probably meant the ambient occlusion (HDAO in Arma3)?
