Greets,
Through my life one of the biggest qualms I have had with gaming is still ever so bothersome. Unfortunately, this qualm exists in ARMA 3 but should not have to.
The most supreme and amazing feature that could be added I have titled "Realistic Bullet Impact Consequences."
In an outline:
1.) Round impacts target in weapon control limb.
+ Target no longer has use of this limb. = Target must switch to secondary weapon or attempt to fire from support limb.
2.) Round impacts target in leg.
+ Target looses use of the leg to the degree of damage. + Foot damage is less than knee, knee is less than artery. = Target must either limp, crawl or bleed out. Weapon manipulation is effected.
3.) Round impacts non vital area yet incapacitating to the degree and area.
+ Target is struck in the stomach, target should not simply flinch and continue unscathed. + Targets should never receive round impact and not be visibly injured. With the exception of body armor. + Example: target stuck in shoulder. Target spins to a degree from the inertia. = Target no longer simply winces or flinches when impacted.
Conclusion:
I attempted to keep this short, I have worked with QA and Dev teams at an enterprise level for years so I wish not to annoy. I very deeply enjoy your software and have been a dedicated fan since Op Flash. I could summarize my request like this. If software developer Bob shot software developer Frank across the length of the lobby. Frank would really be reacting to such a thing. He may scream and yell. Certainly he would grasp at the impacted area and loose control of much of his previous cognition.
As the game stands now, Frank would flinch and continue holding and possibly drinking his freshly poured cup of coffee.
Cheers!
