Description

Hello, I know a ticket exists for this, and supposedly it has been resolved for the party that posted it. However, it has not been resolved for me. When in game, if I press ESC to access the menu, the in-game chat/radio/subtitle section no longer displays. The input UI still works, but messages do not display on my screen.

The resolution for the previous party was to disable "stream friendly UI." This option is disabled by default for me and toggling the option does not return the chat display for me.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Start (host) a multiplayer game.
  2. Player exists in 3D game space.
  3. Press ESC
  4. Restore game to full screen.
Additional Information

Setting pixel resolution, interface size, windowed/fullscreen windowed mode, or repositioning UI do not restore the chat view.

As far as I can tell, I can still send messages that are viewable to other players, and voice chat still works both ways. I cannot see my own messages, the messages of others, radio calls, or subtitles. The only way to restore is to restart.

Previously I thought that Alt+Tab was the problem, but I had been pressing ESC prior to Alt+Tab. Pressing Alt+Tab while in the 3D space without pressing ESC for the menu does not affect the chat display.

For your information: That issue is not yet resolved but assigned. If a ticket is closed, doesnt mean it is resolved. Most tickets get closed because of dublicates.

I think, we hopefully just need to wait until monday for a hotfix.
