Steps To Reproduce
  1. Open Editor
  2. Place a Missle Specialist (AT)
  3. Place a enemy vehicle (such as Ifrit/Hunter/Strider ... depends what faction the (AT) is)
  4. Preview
  5. Change difficulty settings to Veteran/Elite or switch the AutoGuideAT command to disabled
  6. Equip the Titan AT and lock on to the enemy vehicle

It now locks on and will be guided into the target as well.

Additional Information

Tried it with the Titan AT and PCML - same result all the time.

I would much appreciated if you could additionally add something like LaserDesignatorGuided ON/OFF as well.
So you could also have the choice to only lock on to something with the help of designator (or UAV Laser Designator or so).

canLock = 1; is needed for the given weapon

Right now only these two rocket launcher have it:

  • missiles_DAR
  • rockets_Skyfire

What do you mean?

It might be a) a design decision or b) an oversight.

I hope it is b) :)

This difficulty option is incorrectly named. By disabling it you don't disable the missile's ability to lock, but you disable the artificial helpers that are configured for specific weapons (e.g. MGs on vehicles)

Titan was intended to work in two ways - SACLOS and Fire&Forget.
