Add Support for JSBSim for all flight models.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

JSBSim is an open source flight dynamics model. It works with many operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh, Linux, IRIX, Cygwin (Unix on Windows), etc. Website found here:

If it was enabled in the vanillia game, the current flight model could exist as easy difficulty for new players.

i am 100% sure there is no time nor resources to use that.

Also, i never trust JSBS, they try to look realistic, but at the end they are pretty arcadish.

JSBsim is a less difficult flight model to add and can provide a realistic flight model that would be a million times better than the current ones.

@Dr_Death Can you provide examples to back up your claims?

Examples to what? to my opinion?

I think the only time i could test JSBs. at its full potential was with FlightGear.

Disliked the results.

Thank you progamer for this request !
It is SO horrible to see how helicopter and airplane are flying.

I hope it will be in futur release ( also developper told use that they would use TOH flight model for helicopter ... and helicopter still unrealistic :( )

Developers told us many things wich didn't made it, 3D mission editor, loadout editor, realistic TOH flight controls, fastropes with Physx, etc.

I'm sorry but we won't be implementing JSBSim middleware into Arma 3. (not feasible)
