Arma 2 separated assets based on what country they belonged too. Currently Arma 3 is a downgrade in this aspect. It's breaks immersion to see Israeli tanks operated by US soldiers.

there are no countries fighting the war. Its a NATO task force against a fictional Arabian empire. They just happen to use technology base off of Russian technology

The story line right now is a US group from NATO and CSAT made up of Russia, China and a few other countries that are not big fans of the US. The full name of CSAT indicates the agreement was signed in China.
