Description

Minimal runway length is around 460 to 500 mts, full flaps, full throttle. This depends on the surface as dirt, tarmac and dry-lake change the length of the space required to reached minimal take off speed (around 155 km/h).

Some airfields (like the airfield near Aristi) are not suited to match this plane's requirements, although autoland is functional in nearly all runways, it should be noted that the AI cannot take off on it's own, they can land, however they cannot take off once grounded.

Yes runways are intended for choppers right o_O.

The small airstrips need to have concrete floors, because they are useless now. You can not take off doing the rally cross over the dirt runway, you end up in a bush or tree at the end of the strip.

Yep it would also be nice if there was some basic lighting on the informal airstrips. It would also be nice if all building lights were on - on the main airports.

like in reality some airstrips are not meant, for jet or heavy planes, I guess they should be taken off the autoland features for bots, that 's all, but they do respect diversity found irl, airports have signalisation, small airstrips do not, some are in grass some in dirt, with various runway length, which make you able to land there or not, more plane will be done (by users...) so every runways will have its uses.

Altis for gameplay/mission reasons should have had 2 major airfields (like Takistan). That is not the case bacause it is based on a real Greek island, so the least that could be done is to make the small strips usable for fixed wings.

I can take off and land from every airfield. I like the real terrain and aircraft physx aren't the best at the moment meaning you can take off way quicker than you should be able to. Seems more like an AI problem or that they are recognized as possible landing sites for AI.

Roads exist as well which can be used as longer paved airstrips I have found.

You can probably land UAV on them.

They're suitable for UAVs, but it would be nice to have some STOVL aircraft for NATO perhaps.
