AI Infantry not shooting at player
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After placing some AI tanks at several towns in Altis and turning each units skill level down to zero and up just one click and also turning a couple of helis AI unit skill down to approx 20% the AI infantry has stopped shooting at player mostly altogether "even though their skill level has not changed" - "rifleman light."
After deleting said tanks and helis all seemed ok - infantry was shooting again but a short while later the AI infantry stopped shooting at player again.
Have tried all variations of adjusting skill levels in game even up to expert the AI infantry will still not shoot at player.

Could you create repro mission for this please? Thank you.

I found what the issue was - Over time I populated several towns with around 60 "rifleman light" 2 or 3 various helis and several opfor ground vehicles plus around 40 items of ammo "empty"etc EACH! - all this added up to around at least 900 items and resulted in the AI malfunctioning!

I setup another single town arrangement as above and AI is behaving again except for one minor thing - opfor heli's are shooting at incoming player in heli / quadbike etc but when player is on foot they spin slowly and eminate smoke as if shot when they weren't!

Regards
Greg
