Ctrl as down collective creates head movement in helicopters
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

xh-9, ghosthawk and ch49 only

When using L-Ctrl as down collective and moving the mouse it causes the pilots head position to change view, it off sets from centre, so it takes a new position a bit to the left or a bit to the right or forwards/backwards. disabled all controller options and removed all other keybinds requiring L-ctrl and problem still persists

Fix the ticket description. It doesn't matter what your collective bind is... CTRL is always head movement, no matter what bindings you have.

it also happens with F18 mod, it's very annoying, expecially using task force radio.
please fix this.

Can confirm that it also happens when using TrackIR for head movement

The description of this is confusing but I think this is the same issue I was having. keyFreeHeadMove[] is by default bound to ctrl in the profile file and has no ingame option to redefine.

keyFreeHeadMove should be unmapped by default.
You may have it mapped to LCTRL in your profile - {29} - from the past.
Try renaming keyFreeHeadMove[]={29}; to keyFreeHeadMove[]={}; in your Arma3Profile file or rebuilding your preset from one of default ones.

Let us please know if it helped. Thank you for the feedback!
