In the model, the Zamak exhaust is on the top of the roof, in the game, the exhaust is on the lower right side of the vehicle, just between the last 2 wheels

NO, that is not a bug. On top is the air intake snorkel for traveling through water. The exhaust really is between the wheels, you can see the pipe.
