Editor crashes upon starting "Preview"
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi,

the title says it. When i start the editor, it lets me do whatever i want on stratis, i can put one unit, i can put 100 units, it doesn't matter.

So when i click on "Preview", the game crashes to desktop with a message saying "include file VAS\menu.hpp not found" (see picture attached). When clicking OK, i'm back on my desktop, that's it.

This is a very annoying issue as i have always loved to mess around with the editor and i'd like to continue doing so. The issue first came up when i made a huge mission - since then i have reinstalled my OS (not because of this issue of course), but the problem still persists. Also i tried validating the steamfiles, and tried it with the dev build version - still nothing.

I hope you can help me. {F21618} {F21619}

Do you have mods installed (especially Virtual Ammobox)?

We need dxdiag and files from this folder for solve your problem. C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\
Can you upload somewhere in winrar package please?
When package will be smaller than 2,097k, so you can attach here. When package will be bigger, please use some free sharing service and post link here. Thank you.

Can you try this please? Verify integrity of game cache

Thank you.

@wallside: no, i don't have any mods installed

@Astaroth: i already tried verifying the integrity of the game cache which sadly didn't help at all.

so i uploaded my dxdiag protocol here and (hopefully succesfully) the said folder on an external site: http://www.file-upload.net/download-8011733/Arma-3.rar.html

thanks for the quick response, i didn't expect an answer this soon.

So, will i eventually receive some help on this ? I understand you guys are busy.
