Steps To Reproduce
Take control of a Darter near the airfield. Instruct it to land in front of you (where there is no helipad). It will land on the helipad instead.

Confirmed at airbase. But I tried it when the Darter was far from Airbase an I could land it on a trail.

Quadrotors should care much less about landing at helipads, in fact, they should try to ignore them, because they may be taking valuable spots for bigger helicopters.

They do land on helipads when there are any "close" to their landing waypoint. Since they employ the same behaviour as "full size" helicoptes do, "close" can be quite a distance away. This is somewhat confusing.
