Some helicopters have breakable rotor blades, others do not and clip into geometrys (video included)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Noticed today in a careless flight that the X-9 series and the green helicopter both have breakable blades. When they hit an obstruction the blades vanish and the airframe drops down.

However on any other helicopter the blades just stop turning and go static, clipping into geometries and getting stuck or creating continous damage and causing the aircraft to literally blow up.

Woops, totally screwed the url up first time.

Steps To Reproduce

Spawn any helicopter and fly it dangerously around any obstruction be it natural or man made, if it is the ghosthawk, blackfoot, kajiman, or orca then it will get stuck in the nearby geometry or explode.

If it is the H-9's or the green helicopter whose name I forget, then the blades will dissapear and you have a better chance of surviving.

Additional Information

Note the damage amount and types the aircraft with and without breaking rotor blades take, generally if the blade breaks its just MROTOR red, otherwise HULL, INST and more take damage if not become destroyed, which depletes HP which causes big boom.

Thank you for the report. As far as I remember this was addressed during the Beta stage of the development.
