Do you have oveclocked hw?

  1. Can you try please clean install of latest graphic and sound drivers? Usage of drivers cleaner before installing new drivers will make sure you have no corrupted drivers left on computer.
  2. Can you try please install latest DirectX runtime (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35)
  3. When you have hardware overclock, please try go back to default values.
  4. When you use speed fan software, so try set to default values.
  5. Try disable VSYNC.
  6. Try set shadows quality to Standard
  7. Try more overall graphic settings. Start with low and then change to better.

From 3.4 to 3.8 GHz is done by a CPU boost feature. 3.8 to 4.2 GHz is taken care of by MSI Afterburner. The OC is VERY stable (all sorts of stress tested passed) and I have used it since September 2012 without issues.

  1. I use 'Nvidia Experience' software to manage/update video drivers. Is this enough?
  2. Will try that!
  3. Since I have found a solid OC after much tweaking and testing I'm not that keen to change it.
  4. Fans are running according to a set temp curve. I monitor all temps (both CPU and GPU) so I know heat isn't an issue here.
  5. VSYNC was disabled when last CTD happend.
  6. Will try that!
  7. I have gone down from Ultra to Very High. I have a solid framrate and CPU usage is around 55-60%. Changing down didn't change anything.

Thanx for your feedback. I'll try again with suggested tips and check what happens.
