Additional Information

Hi all,
The speedboat Runs a Jetdrive system, most Jetdrive systems have a panel or a flap that drops down at the exit of the steering system this enables the thrust to be re-directed down and towards the front of the boat, in military applications this feature is used to perform a 'splash down' which forces the front of the boat into the water and thus creates a large wave that travels forward from the front of the boat, this also creates a large amount of spray which helps to hide the movement of the boat and can be used to create a 'screen' when under fire. to see what i mean search follow this link.

This link will take you to a video that at about the 2 minute mark shows what happens when the panels are dropped.

it would be good to have this feature in ArmA 3 as it adds more realism to the Jetdriven boats.

Best Regards,
John Williams, XO, Royal Australian Navy (RAN)

Would be a nice feature and it's been discussed abit here. http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=664
I think right now, the boats stop at a distance equivalent to a crash stop.

Mass closing ancient tickets with no activity for > 12 months; assume fixed or too trivial.
