[Feature] Make 'recognition uniforms' system for AI.

Make Ai think about appearance before shooting.
Hostile uniforms - firing.
Ally uniforms - waiting for reason - firing.

But depending of distance because of face recognition issue.

And how exactly does it work now?

AI kill hostiles by fraction tag? I haven't notice that they "think" about appearance.

Oh...I didn't even know you could put on enemy uniforms.

It's possible or must be possible. Like option. Playing PvP(ctf) recently and use this to distract hostiles.

I think this was intended in the initial stages of the game, but it would be hell trying to implement it so it was cut from the game.

Upvote. In addition to this need to reject from instant recognize enemy in vehicles. It's very annoying when take enemy vehicle and enemy instant detects you inside.

The ability to equip enemy uniforms has been removed, the only way to get around it is scripting.


And what about the early gameplay which showed putting on enemy uniforms and infiltrating an enemy camp? Was it improvised? Will the feature be added again?

I think this feature is closed for restyling. Like many others. Work nice but need more working scripts around.

would be great if this does not only work with uniforms but also with vehicles ..
like adding the ability to hide inside the back of an enemy truck or passing by enemy patrols while inside one of their vehicles.

even if the patrol tries to have a look at the driver, it would be impossible to judge friend or foe while the vehicle rushes by.


I think it's possible. Soldiers in the closed cargo space become "friendly"(don't change AI behavior).
