  • This feature request is aimed mainly at civilian/none tank like vehicles *

I think that instead of the simple tire bust/texture change when a vehicle is being damaged, there should be a bit more detailed, dynamic damage system. So, if you were to crash into a wall, the front bumper could fall off or bend inward instead of the tires just blowing out, even though they weren't impacted. Same goes for the doors, if they are shot a whole bunch or impacted, doors should bend inward/fall off, instead of the hull/engine/tires taking damage only.

Well, something like that IS going to be in TOM, so it's technically possible, but I think the game is too late in development for that.
